Thomas Lillibridge the progenitor of the Lillibridge family and his descendants are brought to life with the history of his dwelling house and homestead farm, circa 1715, in Richmond, Rhode Island.           Thomas's grandson Reverend David Lillibridge served during the French and Indian War at age 15. He later moved to live in Willington, Connecticut, where he founded a church and was the church’s only pastor for 55 years, and where his house still stands. These houses tell of generations of family, a history told along with the Haunted Hampton Lillibridge house in Savannah, Georgia, and other paranormal experiences recounted in Lillibridge Houses.

Reviews

"This large format work thoroughly recounts a history of Lillibridge family land and holdings, beginning with a background on Thomas Lillibridge, the first of the family to settle in the colonies. Thomas Lillibridge was collecting territory in the Richmond, Rhode Island, area in the late 17th and early 18th century as well as personally owning multiple homes. The book is further broken into sections which cover the genesis of other Lillibridge homes throughout the US, including locations in Willington, Connecticut, and Savannah, Georgia. A fully fleshed out history of these homes is accomplished by the author through inclusion of deed documents, interviews, letters, photographs, and other historical ephemera. As an added bonus for those of you who delight in ghost tours of historic buildings (you know who you are!), a short chapter recounting stories of parnanormal activity on Lillibridge property is appended and is guaranteed to make you look at both the Lillibridge houses and your own home with a little more caution. Lillibridge Houses is a one of a kind large format work will greatly appeal to those with ties to the Lillibridge family, fellow family historians, genealogists, and those with interest in the various cities in which the Lillibridge houses still reside."
